Plugz Electric Bikes

Plugz Sometimes you need a bit of help on the hilly SF and Marin County streets… this is a fun way to go farther and up more hills than you have before! PLUGZ rents electric bikes, they also have sunset tours. They are one of the biggest groups in the Bay Area.

The cost is around $40 for a tour, $10 / hour and if you can get a group together it is less.

hidden villaCome enjoy the beauty, bounty, and history of Hidden Villa at our day-long, farm-wide celebration of the very special life of Frank and Josephine Duveneck. Celebrate Hidden Villa-style with farm tours, lively games like gunny sack races and tug-o-war, craft activities like corn husk doll making and flower printing for all ages, blacksmith demonstrations, Duveneck House tours, plein air painters working at their canvases, and more. From 11 – 12 World Harmony Chorus sings songs from around the world. Lunch time music by Nancy Cassidy and Band. Old-fashioned country dance at 1:30 p.m. with caller Andy Wilson and live music by the County Line Pickers. Plein Air painting contest winners awarded at 3:30. Food by Armadillo Willy’s available for purchase. No admission fee for children under age two.

Plants Galore!

Go to the SF Botanical Garden – Strybing Arboretum in Golden Gate Park – it is open daily, 365 days a year and is free to the public. There is so much to do in this beautiful place, you can enjoy the area, plants, smells, guided tours, bookstores. You may become so inspired that you’ll want to be a member. This is a great place to teach children to love plants and enjoy the  diversity of nature.

Something is always blooming, it is a wondeful peaceful place to relax.
