FINDING THE PARK: YOUR GPS may indicate that you have arrived, just as you are passing the Rod and Gun Club, but continue on about 1/2 mile further until you see the large State Park sign that is at the entrance of the parking lot.
The park is located on Highway 35, just 2 1/2 miles southeast of the junction with Highway 9.

PARKING: You will have to pay for parking $8 day, however, many people do park outside along Skyline Blvd. If you park in the parking lot, put your payment in the small payment envelope you’ll find near the kiosk. Seal it and drop it in the green, metal post with the slit for the envelopes. The rangers will ticket your car if you have not paid.
