Saving Fuel, using Windpower

Ferries looking into Sails.  (article) – A local start-up from Napa, Wind+Wing Technologies, is proposing this energy saving idea. They are not just spitting into the wind, they have run a successful business venture saling charters in the Bay  for 18 years. They know this area.  What a great idea!

Solar Sailor out of Austrailia is also full of fuel ideas, using solar panels.

Just FYI – WindWing in Hood River Oregon looks like a great group to, but they are not working on the energy saving ferries!
